Wellpoint Dewatering Systems Installation

How we install a Wellpoint Dewatering System to ensure a trouble free, high flowing Well in sand.

  • Pre-drill the ground with a 450mm CFA auger, one meter below the excavation depth.
  • Check auger for any changes in the ground conditions. Eg: Clay layer or Coffee rock.
  • Grade sand for correct spear selection.
  • Select slotted spear size to suit sand grade.
  • Water jet spears into pre-drilled holes.
  • Connect all header pipes and test.

Mavtech Sunshine Coast Dewatering owns and operates 3 excavator mounted rigs to install casing up to 12 meters in depth.

How we install a 10 meter 600mm diameter well in sandy black mud and ensure a trouble free, high flowing Well:

  • Pre-drill ground using a 10 meter in length Continuous Flight Auger.
  • Access the ground conditions to determine gravel size.
  • Vibrate 10-meter casing into pre-drilled hole. Make sure casing is driven level.
  • Drill and clean out casing.
  • Lower slotted pipe into casing.
  • Fill casing with gravel.
  • Vibrate out casing.
  • Lower pump into slotted Well pipe.
  • Turn on and test.
